ABOUT · INSIDE THE LAB

Your embryos never leave the building.

You will never see the room where your embryos grow. So here it is, described plainly, with what we can show you and what you should ask.

Jananam's embryology lab is a clean-room lab inside our Neelankarai hospital, off ECR. Your eggs are collected, fertilised, grown, transferred and frozen under one roof, by one lab team.

Only what the evidence supports

Lab techniques such as ICSI, extended culture, freezing and embryo testing are used when they are indicated for you, not by default.

If you choose embryo testing (PGT), a few cells are taken from each embryo and sent to a genetics lab for testing. The cells leave the building. The embryo stays here, frozen, until the result comes back. [CONFIRM: genetics lab used]
