How we write.

Who writes

Jananam's clinical team and editors write every article, starting from questions couples actually ask us in clinic, on WhatsApp and on our anonymous question page. [CONFIRM: named writers]

Who reviews

Tier 1: Dr Vani Sundarapandian, MD, DGO, FRCOG (UK), reviews articles on IVF, embryos, failed cycles and stopping. Tier 2: Dr Mangalam Raman, MBBS, DGO, DNB (OBG), reviews the rest. Nothing goes live without a named reviewer. [CONFIRM: topic split]

Sources we use

Published guidelines and patient pages from ESHRE, NICE, NHS, HFEA, ASRM, WHO, ICMR and Cochrane. Each article lists its sources at the end, with links you can open.

What we will never publish

Success rates, prices, stories used as proof that treatment works, supplements or add-ons without evidence, and anything about choosing a baby's sex, which is illegal in India.

How we correct mistakes

If you spot an error, tell us on WhatsApp or at support@jananamfertility.com. The reviewing doctor checks it, we fix the article and show the date it changed. [CONFIRM: turnaround and change note]

A date on every article

Every article shows who reviewed it and when. Each one is checked again at least once a year, or sooner when a guideline changes. [CONFIRM: review cycle]

ASK

Didn't find your question?

Ask it anonymously. No name, no phone number. Good questions become new articles, answered by our doctors. If you would rather talk to a person, message us on WhatsApp.

About the journal.

Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp — a real person replies.

Who checks the articles in the Jananam journal?

Every article is reviewed by a named fertility specialist at Jananam before it goes live: Dr Vani Sundarapandian or Dr Mangalam Raman. The reviewer and the date are shown on each article.

Why don't your articles give success rates?

We don't publish success rates in articles, because a single number rarely applies to you and can mislead. Your own chances depend on age, egg reserve, sperm and diagnosis, and a doctor can go through them with you.

Can I ask a fertility doctor a question anonymously?

Yes, you can ask on our anonymous question page without giving your name or phone number. Selected questions are answered in articles and videos.

Can an article replace a consultation?

No. An article explains what a finding usually means; a consultation looks at both of you, your reports and your history, and ends with a written plan.

Read it here. Ask us the rest.

Send your question or your report on WhatsApp. A real person from our team replies during clinic hours (Mon to Sat, 9am to 5pm. Sunday closed.).
