How do I choose a fertility clinic in Chennai?
Choose on how a clinic works, not on the rate it advertises: ask who you will see at every visit, whether both partners are tested first, and whether the price is in writing before you start. Ask the same 7 questions at every clinic you visit and compare the written answers. Ours are in the Jananam Standard on this page.
Does Jananam publish success rates?
No, Jananam does not publish a clinic-wide IVF, IUI or TESA success rate, because that number depends more on which patients a clinic accepts than on the care. Instead, at your first consultation Dr Vani's team works out your own chances from age, diagnosis, ovarian reserve and the semen analysis, and tells you plainly, including when treatment is unlikely to help, as the ART (Regulation) Act 2021 expects. If any clinic quotes a success rate in Chennai, ask whether it counts live births or pregnancies, per cycle or per patient, and which ages it covers.
Is Jananam expensive?
We quote a package price in writing before you start, and every test or treatment we suggest has a medical reason. Patients often mention there were no hidden charges.
Does Jananam offer EMI for IVF?
Yes, EMI options are available. Our financial counsellor explains them before you commit, so you know the monthly cost before treatment starts.
Is Jananam in Neelankarai far for me?
Jananam's main hospital is in Neelankarai, just off East Coast Road (ECR). If you live along OMR, consultations and scans can happen at Jananam Thiruporur. Egg collection, embryo transfer and all lab work happen at Neelankarai.
We live overseas. Can Jananam help?
Yes: most couples start with a video consultation, then do tests at home where possible. You travel to Chennai only for the part that needs you here.
IVF failed for us elsewhere. Is it worth trying again?
It can be, and a second opinion is how you find out: it looks at what happened, not just what's next. Sometimes the honest answer is a different plan, or stopping. The most common mistake we see is waiting too long to ask.
