Something showed up on my scan. Can I still get pregnant?

One word on a report can ruin a week. Most findings change the plan; few of them close the door, and a doctor can tell you which is which.

Questions women ask us.

Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp — a real person replies.

What should I do about pain or bleeding in early pregnancy?

Severe pain, fainting or heavy bleeding in early pregnancy needs same-day care: call 108 or go to the nearest emergency department. Then call us on +91 89399 94244.

Can I get pregnant with PCOS?

Yes, most women with PCOS can get pregnant, often without IVF. PCOS usually means you ovulate less often, and the usual order is lifestyle and weight first, then ovulation tablets such as letrozole with scans, then injections, then IVF.

Does a bulky uterus mean I can't get pregnant?

No. 'Bulky uterus' describes the size of the womb on a scan, not a disease, and what matters is the cause, such as fibroids or adenomyosis, and where it sits.

Is a chemical pregnancy a miscarriage?

Yes, it is a very early pregnancy loss, before a scan can show a pregnancy. One on its own is common and usually does not mean something is wrong; after two or three losses, it is worth looking for a cause.

Send us the report. We'll tell you what it means.

Share your scan or blood report, your age and how long you've been trying. A real person from our team replies on WhatsApp during clinic hours (Mon to Sat, 9am to 5pm. Sunday closed.).
